Semester 2 final

One of my favorite projects was the cafe e-comm project, for the cafe e-comm project we did it based around a fictional restaurant and my restaurant was named "cafe e-comm". The project took around 1 week to complete. I faced challenges creating the image gallery. I learned a lot of new skills with the wordpress. I did not receive any feedback on this project. I changed a lot when it came to the final poster and the overall style of it, I originally didn't plan on setting an image to the background of the poster. Overall I think I did a decent job on the final, but if I took some more time on the project I could've ended up with a better result. I learned communication skills in web this year, I learned it by communicating my problems with other students/teachers to help me figure it out. Its was important because it will help me in the future. I faced challenges receiving good skills in communication. My greatest strength is javascript and my weakness is wix. I

Semester 2 Final

One of my favorite projects was the infographic project, for the infographic project we did it based around a fictional concert and my concert was named "Jah Con" after Jahseh Onfroy. The project took around 1 week to complete. I faced challenges tracing the image for Jahseh. I learned a lot of new skills with the pen tool on illustrator. I did not receive any feedback on this project. I changed a lot when it came to the final poster and the overall style of it, I originally didn't plan on setting an image to the background of the poster. Overall I think I did a decent job on the poster, but if I took some more time on the project I could've ended up with a better result. Another one of my favorite projects we completed this second semester is the Vector illustrated portrait. The project took around 1 week to fully complete. I faced some challenges getting the grid set up to fully pologonize the piece. I gained a lot of experience with the pen tool by completing

I posterized the image to simplify the image colors to help find all the colors for the final project. I decided to do myself because I figured it would be the easiest to draw. I also chose the polygonal style because I like the look of the polygons especially over images. I also figured it would be easier to pull off. I had trouble merging the lines into triangles but the paths were on different layers and I had to move them for the merge to work. I learned how to use paths and create a polygon overlay for an image. I feel happy with how it turned out. Before After

Semester Final Web

What was your biggest challenge and how did you resolve it? My biggest challenge was making sites responsive. I researched a lot on responsiveness and improved through that. What was your favorite project or exercise? Why? My favorite project was real or hoax. It was fun to code. What is your greatest strength in Web Design? My greatest strength is the overall look of a site, I focus of the user interaction to the site What is your top weakness in Web Design? My top weakness is alignment and responsiveness. What web design skill have you improved the most this semester? I have gotten better with responsiveness of the site. What do you still need to work on and why? Learning more about web, because I want to continue my web journey. Is there anything you would change about this class? Why? Top Streaming Platforms Infographic It took approximately 2 weeks to complete. I faced some challenges setting up the title. I learnt how to re-create logos. Yes, I changed the overall theme. I am not amazing at graphic design but for my skill level I'm pretty impressed. How do I use my time in class? I worked on other projects. I don't use my time amazing, its hard for me to focus in class. I run a shirt printing business and I create graphics for it. What are your strengths? My strengths are my creativity. What needs improvement? I need to improve time management, and project management. Summary: I loved the class room vibes, I would do more outside of class. I learned a lot of new tools in illustrator and photoshop. My goal is to continue my journey in graphic design and learn lots of new skills. My Behance

water color transfer project

Water transfer project I water colored a piece of paper, I let it dry for a day. I printed out the images I wanted to transfer. I put mod podge on the paper, I layed the image over the dried water color paper, I squeegeed the image with mod podge to start the transfer process. It transferred overnight and the next day we removed the paper on top using water and our fingers, we rubbed it till all the fuzzy pieces of paper were gone.
