Printing Process

Relief Process: Relief printing, in art printmaking, a process consisting of cutting or etching a printing surface in such a way that all that remains of the original surface is the design to be printed. One type of relief-printing processes include metal cut Step 1: Images are drawn directly onto the block with a lead pencil. Step 2: A chisel is used to carve all of the spots, removing most of the surface of the block. Step 3: Ink is put to the surface of the block with a roller. Step 4: When the block is run through a press, the ink is sent to a sheet of paper. Step 5: It takes several days for the ink to dry on the drying rack. Intaglio Process: Intaglio is the family of printing and printmaking techniques in which the image is transferred into a surface and the transferred line or sunken area holds the ink. This panorama was made from my 2015 Colorado trip, when I was 13. Some of the images were very low quality due to the phone back then. I went white water rafting this trip. I went on bike rides quite a bit and had a lot of fun. It smelled like fresh air. The overall feel of Colorado was awesome in comparison to the boring old Kansas. It smelled like fresh air. The hotel I stayed at had a hot tub. I hiked a couple mountains which was fun. This was my first time visiting Colorado and I did some fun activities, I went white water rafting, we had 2 families of 5 on the raft and we flipped, due to me being young I was scared. I also went zip lining and it was really fun, the zip line was really long and it was pretty high up. While we were in Steamboat Colorado we went shopping at the shopping center in steamboat. We went fishing in a lake near steamboat and I caught quite a bit fish. I also went hiking up a river, It was a lot of fun the water was freezing, luckily me and my famil
