Pop Art

Image
I begun making the texture on the shirt. I then thought how plain the background is and added some random shapes in the background and distorted them a bit so it didn't look like they were the same. I changed the blending mode to overlay to add some color changes to my partner. I decided on a color scheme of pink orange and blue. I choose them because those were the colors I found first. I didn't get any inspiration from anyone for this project. I used the overlay blending mode to add to the color of my partner.

I chose an image which was a skin from a video game I used to play. I made the image on the jacket low opacity so the texture of the jacket came through. I selected all of the jacket, inverted the selection. went to the image layer, and deleted it from there. I also cut out the eyes on the background and added a glow to added some contrast to the dark background. I also added some glow around the jacket to define where the jacket is and where the background is. I got rid of the white background which was a huge pain around the hair area because the hair was really light.
